Our Families
Choosing a puppy is a big decision, especially when you are buying interstate or joining a waitlist before a litter is born. These stories show what the experience can look like—from the first conversation and puppy updates through to collection, transport and life at home.

Buying from another state
Most of our families live outside Queensland. Video calls, regular updates and clear transport planning keep them involved the whole way through.
The communication made all the difference.
Buying a puppy interstate was completely new to us, so we had plenty of questions. We had a video call, met our puppy on screen and were able to ask everything we wanted before making a decision.
The regular updates made us feel involved even though we were in Melbourne. By the time he arrived, we already felt like we knew him. He settled in beautifully and quickly became part of the family.

Melbourne, Victoria
We felt involved from the other side of Australia.
Being in Perth, we thought we might miss most of the early stages.
Instead, we received photos and videos as he grew, and we were able to ask questions along the way. By the time he flew over, we had watched his personality develop for weeks.
He arrived happy, curious and ready to explore the house.

First Bulldog in the house
First-time Bulldog owners get the same preparation and follow-up as experienced owners.
She fitted in from day one.
From the first night, it felt like she had always been here.
She follows the kids everywhere, has claimed the best spot on the couch and makes us laugh every day. We still send Sheila photos because we know she genuinely likes seeing how the puppies are growing.

Families who have owned Bulldogs before
Families who have lived with a Bulldog in respiratory difficulty tend to ask the most detailed questions.
We wanted a healthier Bulldog.
We had owned a Bulldog before and loved the breed, but the breathing problems were difficult to watch.
This time we researched for months. We had video calls, asked a lot of questions and waited until we felt comfortable.
Our boy is full of personality. He loves playing in the yard, then comes inside and sleeps across half the couch like he owns it.

Support after collection
The first few weeks bring the most questions. Families can ask them whenever they come up.
The support did not stop after collection.
I had questions about food, toilet training, sleeping and just about everything else during the first few weeks.
I could send a message without feeling like I was being a nuisance. That support made the early puppy stage much less stressful, especially as a first-time Bulldog owner.

Waiting for the right puppy
Litters are planned rather than produced to demand, so waiting families are kept informed throughout.
We never felt pressured.
I asked a lot of questions before making a decision and never felt rushed.
When Sheila did not have an immediate answer, she checked and came back to me rather than guessing. I appreciated that honesty.
The whole process felt straightforward, and the updates while we waited made a big difference.

Collection day and transport
Some families collect in Brisbane, some fly in, some drive, and some use approved interstate transport.
Worth the drive.
We drove up to Brisbane to collect our girl and made a weekend of it.
It was reassuring to meet Sheila, spend time with our puppy and see how comfortable she was before we headed home. The drive back was long, but she handled it better than we expected.
We would absolutely make the trip again.

The trip was worth it.
Flying to Brisbane to collect a puppy felt like a big commitment when we first discussed it.
Once we arrived and spent time with our puppy, we knew we had made the right decision. We flew home tired, excited and slightly overwhelmed—but very happy.
He is now the centre of the household.
