Why Hollywood Bulldogs AUS: the standard we hold, and how it is evidenced
Hollywood Bulldogs AUS is an evidence-based British Bulldog breeding program in Brisbane. Six pillars govern every decision we make, from which dogs are paired to what documentation leaves with a puppy. Each pillar below links to the pages and records that substantiate it.

The framework
Six pillars, each with a verifiable record behind it
Pillar 01
Genetic Screening
Every breeding dog is DNA tested across the recognised British Bulldog panel and genotyped for ADAMTS3 copy number. Results are recorded and used to model the range of genotypes a pairing can produce.
Pillar 02
Airway Function
Breathing and exercise tolerance are assessed on the dog in front of us. Dogs offered for breeding or stud service move and breathe without surgical intervention.
Pillar 03
Structure and Temperament
Selection weighs movement, joint function, skin and temperament together with laboratory results. Colour is never traded against function.
Pillar 04
Veterinary Oversight
Pregnancy management, caesarean delivery, neonatal care, vaccination and semen collection are performed under veterinary supervision by reproductive practitioners.
Pillar 05
Documentation
Laboratory reports, registry records, pedigrees and veterinary documentation are supplied to families and breeders, including where a dog is unproven or a result is incomplete.
Pillar 06
Education and Lifetime Support
Our education library is open access, and every family and breeder retains direct access to us for the life of the dog.
Stated limitations
What testing does not do
Testing is not a guarantee
DNA results establish genotype at tested loci. They do not remove acquired conditions, environmental factors or conditions without an available test.
Assessment is not certification
Functional airway assessment describes the dog we examined. It is not an independent certification scheme.
Records are not predictions
Documented history informs expectation. It does not forecast an individual outcome.
