Hollywood Bulldogs AUS was invited by SBS Insight to contribute breeder perspectives during a national discussion on brachycephalic dog health, welfare and breeding practices in Australia.
The program brought together veterinarians, welfare advocates, breeders and owners to examine the challenges facing brachycephalic breeds and the practical steps the breeding community can take to improve long-term health outcomes.
Our contribution focused on transparent, health-led breeding — including multi-marker DNA testing, structural and functional health assessment, and the ADAMTS3 work that defines the Hollywood Bulldogs AUS program.
